• Tuesday afternoons: 2:30pm - 3:00pm
• Friday mornings: 8:30am - 9:00am

James Erskine Public School Uniform Guidelines

The school guidelines were developed in conjunction with the school P & C and allowed opportunity for school community input in the final decision making of the guidelines.

The wearing of school uniforms by students at James Erskine PS will assist the school community in:

• defining our identity for the school within its community
• developing students' sense of belonging to the JEPS school community
• providing an opportunity to build school spirit
• enhancing the health and safety of students when involved in school activities
• promoting a sense of inclusiveness, non-discrimination and equal opportunity
• reinforcing the perception of the school as an ordered and safe environment
• increasing the personal safety of students and staff by allowing easier recognition of visitors and potential intruders in the school
• promoting positive community perceptions of public education
• making school clothing more affordable for families by eliminating the risk of peer pressure to wear fashionable and expensive clothes (exerts from DoE School Uniform Policy Guidelines)

Our Uniform

Daily Shoes

All students as asked to wear black, leather upper shoes with black shoelaces. Black jogger style is acceptable as long as it meets Work Health and Safety standards and is a black leather style upper. This is a compulsory Work Health and Safety requirement on all school sites.

When sport occurs, white sports shoes with leather uppers and sports uniform are to be worn – Work Health and Safety requirements still need to be met.

Full school uniform is to be worn to and from school.
